SCATS Endorses Joe Moscato for Ward 2

Joe Moscato is not your average candidate. He's tough. He's committed. He is a man of principle who will never shy away from asking the hard questions and pursuing the issue until he gets the complete answer. He has a law enforcement background and established a fiscally conservative track record while serving on the Greece Board of Education.

JOE MOSCATO for GREECE TOWN BOARD, WARD 2

(Don't forget to check out all of SCATS' endorsements ;)

(Note sarcastic tone)

Way to go Joe! The only candidate who has the guts to do the job the people want!

I'm voting for JOE!!!

(He may be the only lever I pull, but the BEST lever!)

Joe knows Greece.

It is important that we have Joe on the board.
He'll be a vigilant watchdog no matter who gets elected. Republican's take note.Joe will not be a rubber stamp for any party.
he deserved your vote.

On the other Bilsky has no position except one servile to Auberger.

why elect the "yes" man for another term.

I wish I could vote for Joe!

To 5:02PM ~~ Me too ... but I'm in the wrong ward.

If we can get 3 of 4 on town board and Dan Maloney as Supv. then Greece has a real chance to pull itself out of the Republican/Chamber/Rotary inflicted government version of the "swine flu".
Please abandon the Republican line and give our town a chance by voting for the "vaccine" candidates. You won't regret it. But the D&C will sell alot less papers! And you will know that the streets are safer and people in town hall care about your financial well-being and will talk to you anytime, anywhere on any subject. My, what a change that will be.

I live in the 2nd Ward and will be voting for Joe. I have been in the printing business all my working years. For the past three weeks I have been bombarded by junk mail from Auberger, Bilsky and Maloney.

I recently received two pieces of literature from Moscatos campaign, including the one that's posted. I was really impressed by the quality and content of the mailings. These were undoubted the a class of their own, the photographs were well done. Whoever did the printing used high quality material and was obviously a skilled professional. It was also obvious to me that these mailings were not the product of an amateur back room print shop found at most political headquarters as were the mailings of the others.

These mailings were first class in every respect including the straight forward message printed thereon. A class act like this deserves my support.

Of course you endorse your father..

SCATS said...

To 6:55PM ~~ That would be hard to do seeing that my father passed away sometime ago.

GO JOE! GO!!!!!!

I would be proud to have a guy like Moscato in my family. If I were related to Auberger, I would change my name.

Ok, I gotta ask...

Joe, you gonna quit mid-term if you don't get your way just like you did when you were elected to represent the taxpayers on the Schools' Board of Education?

It's a fair question.

SCATS said...

To 9:28PM ~~ Your question is anything but fair. Moscato did NOT QUIT "mid-term" and I know that YOU KNOW IT ;)

Mid term? No wonder the rethuglicans can't seem to get anything right - they think leaving 30 days early to file an investigation with the States Attorney General against the former superintendent to save the taxpayers of Greece from having to pay for the super's lifetime health insurance for both he and his wife "mid term"?

Oh yeah, wasn't it a former Rethuglican Supervisor (Boiley and company) who helped facilitate that?

Yeah, ask away genius! You obviously pay as close attention to things as Jack Auberger does the town's business, or police department. Just as long as your check clears, you're a happy little pug!

I'm voting Moscato and Maloney and praying we get at least one more Democrat into town government in this election. Greece needs its pot to be stirred, not shaken.

Anonymous said...

12:18 - God help us if democrats take control of town government. Look what they're doing at the state and federal level. The same will happen here. Look at Brighton and Irondequoit. Mendon's democrat supervisor raised taxes 17%. Is that what you want? You don't know what you're asking for.

SCATS said...

To 12:29PM ~~ And how much do you think our taxes will skyrocket when Greece gets done paying out on all the lawsuits caused by Auberger not being awake on his watch? Of course, good ole Jack will saw into services again, BUT he never tells us about that. We have to "discover" it on our own!

Youth Bureau
Tree maintenance
Dredging Braddocks
# of cops
...

I've listed many, many of them before. I'm not doing it again.

Hopefully the democrats will bring back the leaf trucks. It's so stupid to have to haul 124 bags of leaves to a park.

All the seniors complain about it too at the pile. It's ridiculous!

SCATS said...

To 1:17PM ~~ You should call Auberger and complain. Oh wait, forget that. He doesn't talk to the peons who pay his salary. So sorry.

Joe..Tell us 1 good thing you did while on School Board other then be a distraction..You have a social disfunction!! You don't know how to agree to disagree..Go Away!! You and your hanfull of CARE members can't possibly think you can help.

SCATS said...

To 9:15PM ~~ Before trying to slam someone else, it's usually a good idea to make sure YOU have your affairs in order. Your inability to spell or write properly speaks volumes about your ability to have a coherent discussion.

Since Joe doesn't run this BLOG (I do) and since I'm pretty sure he attended the Candidate's Night forum, I'll tell you "one thing" he helped to accomplish.

Joe and several others on the BOE (it takes FIVE VOTES, not just one) halted the discriminatory practices administration used against teachers that resulted in a bunch of EEOC lawsuits people filed against GCSD.

"To 12:29PM ~~ And how much do you think our taxes will skyrocket when Greece gets done paying out on all the lawsuits caused by Auberger not being awake on his watch?"

So you think we should have to pay for out of control tax increases too? That doesn't make any sense.

SCATS said...

To 11:14PM ~~ You really ought to compare your tax bills over the last 5-10 years so you can see that we are paying and paying and paying BEFORE Auberger's lawsuits get factored in. GREECE IS THE HIGHEST TAXED TOWN IN ONE OF THE TOP TAXED COUNTIES IN THE USA.

THAT is part of Auberger's 12 yr. legacy.

Joe and the Board of Education did nothing of the sort. They simply caused the administration to change their tactics in how they reach their desired goal.

The question remains unanswered. Joe, why should this community re-elect someone who has proven they'd rather flee than fight for their best interests, as you did when elected to the Board of Education?

Anonymous said...

From personal experience, Joe is very prickely if you disagree with him.

Re: Support for Dems: do you really think the dems will take over Greece? Naive!

Anonymous said...

Joe, thanks for having some morals and principles in stopping the discriminatory practices by the Greece Schools Admin...However they are back at it again. Just like the Walts era. Remind, how did that era end for us.

Anonymous said...

There are no "perfect candidates." Moscato is the better candidate. What we already got hasn't been working for the people of Greece. Joe will.

SCATS said...

To 6:07AM ~~ Walts was in trouble for his tactics, not for the ultimate goal. So, changing those tactics was what needed to happen. Ridding the district of lousy teachers is NOT against the law. It's just very tough, not to mention costly, to do within the laws.

SCATS said...

To 8:01AM ~~ Just like Auberger huh?

Anonymous said...

SCATS 11:20 - That's simply not true but I don't expect you to be interested in the truth. Just because Democrats tell you something is true, you shouldn't blindly follow them as they lead you over the cliff. Go ahead if you really want to though. ;)

SCATS said...

Once again (it's getting very tiresome folks, but I WILL outlast you), I'm rejecting comments that claim what I posted something "untrue" or what someone has written isn't true but then totally fail to "correct" the record. Bashing someone just for the heck of it doesn't fly on this BLOG.

SCATS said...

To 9:04AM ~~ I think your issue should be taken up with the Democrat & Chronicle, WHAM News, WOKR News and a few other media outlests, since THEY REPORTED OUR RANKING ;)

To 6:07: For once and for all, the question has been answered several times, but I will answer it one more time as you obviously have a very diffcult time understanding.

While Joe was on the board the discriminatory actions by administration against teachers was put to a stop, along with many other practices used by the former administration.

Unfortunately, the politicians came forward and supported by the Rotary, Chamber and many Republican politicians they raised $15,000 (the first time ever in the history of Greece School Board), got an endorsement from the D&C (the first and last time ever in the history of a school board or the D&C) and proceeded to elect Roger Boily, Carolyn Hauer and Julia VanOrman to the school board. All devout lovers of the Steven Walts School of Administration. They immediately hired Achramovitch who, if you can believe it, is ten times worse than Walts. They also turned everything around and refused to continue to set our district straight, instead opting to create committees for everything and nothing. In total frustration, because a majority of 5 votes is needed, Joe resigned from the board 30 days before his term expired so that he could accomplish what he could not do as a board member. He has been working at this ever since and, if and when we ever get a police or investagatory agency that is not corruped by our local politicians, he will succeed in getting a return of the illegal benefits obtained by Walts. This is the kind of dedication we need on the Town Board.
