LIGHTNING STRIKES MOSCATO TWICE!

YNN Reports: FOR THE SECOND TIME IN HIS POLITICAL CAREER, THE JEFFERSON RD POST OFFICE HAS LOST MOSCATO'S CAMPAIGN MAILING

INCREDIBLE INCOMPETANCE?
OR SOMETHING MORE SINISTER?

Please go to YNN Rochester and note the 3rd story under top stories (as of this timestamp). Joe Moscato has had a large mailing of campaign literature lost by the Jefferson Rd. facility. After three days of futile efforts to have them find the materials, it was prudent to tell the story. This also happened to Joe in 2005 when his school board campaign literature was lost for several weeks at the same facility and then found in a back storage room under a canvas tarp, going "nowhere". Makes you wonder, doesn't it? But the president of the union for the postal workers says that they cannot get the help necessary from management to keep up with the 3rd class mailing demands. So they ship stuff to the regional center in Pittsburgh and it comes back to the same loading dock two weeks later ready for delivery. (Or maybe it just doesn't get shipped?) No wonder the postal service is losing money.

Are there political operatives at work in the building? Probably not but one has to wonder. This is twice now for Joe. A full press release is available if you want to contact Joe.  10/30/2009 8:10 PM

To 8:12PM ~~ I found the story just a few minutes ago, but I appreciate the heads up anyway ;)

If he dropped it off at the North Greece office would it make it any better? They have such shortened hours but they are honest.
Too late now but there should be an investigation into this . It is a federal crime.
The post office has an inspector general office that will look into this phone 272-5883

If it is a case of a possible postal employee that has stolen/hidden this mail they have their own inspectors. The phone for that office is 716-541-0695. These are the internal affairs for the post office employees/employee misconduct . These investigators carry guns etc. They will pursue this ,Joe. Whoever can make the complaint should have all the facts and evidence when they call. These investigators mean business.

To 8:59PM ~~ Thank you for that valuable info :)

I am wondering why they were mailed at the Jeffeson Rd branch when we have a few branches in Greece? I don't want to doubt Joe but really twice?

SCATS said...

To 9:09PM ~~ Yes, twice. Once when he ran for Board of Education and now while running for Town Board. Both incidents at the SAME PO. It's enough to leave a person PO'd.

PS ~~ Someone must be VERY worried about Joe winning that seat ... ;)

If it was a bulk mailing it had to be taken to the Jefferson Road Office.

You honestly think Greece political operatives are working in cohoots with the fedral unionized post office in Henrietta? Seriously?

Which political party do you think has more influence at the federal unionized post office?

To 9:38PM ~~ I'm fairly certain it was given the size, cost, etc.

To 9:50PM ~~ Yes, seriously I believe it is possible ... probable even. Don't forget, Joe is a retired cop. I'm sure there are more than a few in Phelan's bunch that want him to go away ... for good.

9:50 this is totally believable and it isn't the union that did it. Of course that's ridiculous. Maybe it was a mistake but probably not since there are many that are afraid of Joe's stance on crime. All it takes is one employee to put those aside without tagging them. Easy to do but now easy to get caught.

Bulk mailing requires a permit and various rules apply. In this case a bulk mailer was paid to address and process the 4000 cards. They must go to Jefferson Rd facility where they are brought in by identified tray #'s, weighed, receipted, date and time stamped etc etc. (That information confirmed that the cards for 14626 and 14615 never left the building and was never received at the branches.)
At that point the bulk mailer has completed their task. Now it is up to the USPS to deliver 3rd class mail in a reasonable manner. Never delivering it is gross incompetence and constitutes fraud and theft of a service paid for and destruction of property. Discarding the literature within the facility is a felony. Hiding the literature in a storage area under a canvas tarp may require another definition. Dirty tricks comes to mind. You get the idea.

I'm not defending the postal workers for losing something but I have heard from our local postal workers in Greece branches that the staffing is very short. I think there are general issues.

Having said that this still sounds more like an inside job.

And no one else's mailings were lost. That is deliberate. It is against the candidate because he challenges them directly. I don't live in his ward but I would vote for Moscato if I did. My ward has a supposed incumbent that took over for someone that took over for a county seat so he could play the incumbent also. Both of those republicans can say they are running for offices that have scandals that they are not a party to. O'keefe gets to be an incumbent while she can say she was not around for the Greece scandals (she was around with a blind eye how else did she get appointed to the vacated seat) and Antelli who was on the Greece board vacated to the county and is running there saying he is not responsible for the county/robutrad scandals. Voting for Coon county and leebyfeld for the town seat. And Maloney. And I'm registered republican.

To 10:46AM ~~ You are onto them! Now if we could just get another 15,000 people to realize this between now and Tuesday ... :/

this has happened twice and only to Joe Moscato?? Joe has issues

SCATS said...

To 12:13PM ~~ It isn't Moscato's fault the Post Office "lost" half of his mailing! It's very suspicious since they lost his mailings to the same exact zip codes last time he ran for office.

If you want to talk about repetitive issues, let's discuss all the bad cops Auberger hired. Let's discuss that in his 12 yrs as Supervisor, Rahn was our "Rogue Chief" for at least 10 of them. Game? ;)

Scats, so are you saying that Phalen controls the Henrietta post office?

To 1:45PM ~~ Who is that?

We already know how good the "Grease" officials are at hiding evidence, covering tracks, shredding documents, influencing others, breaking the rules, hiding behind Maggie's skirt...

I can't wait until Tuesday around 9:30pm. Somebody better have the tissues handy and hope they didn't shred or hide them!

You're going down John and company.
