Greece: The Dysfunction Junction Lives On ...

“He's a good leader, he has a good track record and the town of Greece has a great quality of life. I think you have to separate the scandal from the victim and the town of Greece is a victim in this.”
(Maggie Brooks on Auberger's handling of GPD scandals)

"The County of Monroe is a victim here. We asked for the investigation. We say that over and over and over. We've done things internally to make sure that this can't happen again. So at the end of the day, people are going to focus on how did we respond to these issues as they came up."
(Maggie Brooks on the Robu-trad scandal)

SCATS ~~ Dr. Phil? Where are you? We need an intervention, STAT!

Doctor Phil (not really a doctor or a trained analyst) is a rank amatuer. We really Need Dr. Freud for this one.

Very oedipal if you ask me. There is some interesting contemporary work on the formation of the grandiose ego.

To 10:08AM ~~ Freud is gone and Dr. Ruth got squeemed out by the idea of these two. The thing about Dr. Phil is, he's got excellent connections. He CAN get us the help we need! ;)

To 6:24AM ~~ I suggest you sue the Town of Greece and the County of Monroe. You ARE a victim. So is your wallet ...

BLOG Administration rejected one comment for its sexual/perverse content. Uncle Rico is going ballistic.

Uncle Rico needs a good analyst himself.

There must be a message in it when one politician who is sinking in scandals supports another one who is also up to their ears in scandals. The question is, are we listening? It seems like we're deaf to the issues. I say that because people from communities to the east of us constantly ask me "Why do Greece taxpayers allow this to go on? Why do they vote the same people back into office after they see what's really happening?" I just shake my head, because I don't know what to say. It's mind boggling. And I'm scared to death it's about to happen again. Sigh........

I have to say I got my bulletin from the town today and have to say: Who the He** does Auberger think he is fooling with the TAX rate reduction being a result of the budget...It is a lie in print. If it was a cut then it would be able to be maintained next year when reserve funds are depleted. He needs to go!
And not to leave J.H. out: does he honestly believe that the new speed bumps and traffic signs on the "town hall campus" are a major issue to the tax payers of Greece, get a clue councilman. At least the town will be less one double dipper!

Oh and really a whole page dedicated to ice and snow control. Give me a break and get lost Auberger!

To 5:44PM ~~ I don't know what you're referring to. The comic out front was drawn by my artistic helper ;)

To Coffee ~~ Well, you know the politicos have got to appeal to all those people who keep calling/writing in and telling everyone what wonderful services Greece has and they're happy with the corruption, er ... I mean status quo.

actually no. the comic is done by someone else, and your "helper" did nothing more than photo shop the faces on. I think i'll contact the artist and let them know you are stealing and altering their work. I've seen that comic before (minus the shoddy photo shop work).

To 9:08PM ~~ Go for it since my helper IS the original artist who photoshopped their own work :D
