The Top 10 Reasons Why I Won't Vote For John Auberger ...

Reason #10 ~~ Auberger ALWAYS Takes Credit For Any "Good News" Item ... Even If He Had Nothing To Do With It (Ex: Community Center & Library Programs)

Reason #9 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Discuss Town Business At Town Board Meetings (Ex: Agenda items are voted on one after the other without comment)

Reason #8 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Promote Open Govt (Ex: Too many closed door meetings, like on the PEG TV issue)

Reason #7 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Be Honest (Ex: Blaming Rahn for Pignato and Joseph after admitting earlier that he does ALL hiring)

Reason #6 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Meet With or Communicate Directly With Residents (I AM HIM IS NOT HIM!)

Reason #5 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Accept Responsibility For Anything "Bad" That Happens (Ex: Assessor's scandal, GPD scandals)

Reason #4 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Clean-Up Messes Left By Others (Ex: No new assessment done following the Kodak/Assessor's scandal to correct for the problems Schwab created with property values)

Reason #3 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Supervise Top Employees (Ex: Schwab, Rahn, GPD)

Reason #2 ~~ Auberger's Failure To Delegate Responsibility Appropriately (Ex: Insisting That He Hires/Fires Everyone)

AND ...

The #1 Reason Why I Won't Vote For John Auberger Is:

HIS TOTAL

FAILURE

TO LEAD !!
(See examples #2-10 !)

The problem is the deaf, dumb and clueless Republican "masses" that will vote for John because that is what "we have always done".
If the Republicans are to get their justly deserved banishment from town government, it will require that every registered Democrat, Conservative, and "no party" get out and vote for the new guys. And a whole bunch of Republicans have to stay home to quietly protest the total failure of their party.
Don't hold your breath but if not this year, then never. I hope there is at least one dumb real estate buyer in a few years who will buy my house. Anyone with half a brain wouldn't choose to move here with the white collar criminals that run the town and the school district. Thanks to the Republicans, Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber and private club members we have a town that ranks last in the desirable places to live in Monroe County.

don;t be so negative.
There is a real dislike for Auberger out there

They the "Re-pubes" know the winds have changed. Yesterday when they meet up to put out yard signs they met in a discreet location,WAY behind the Goodwill at stonridge. Why not just meet in the parking lot...oh yeah maybe to embaressed and know it is OVER!

SCATS said...

To Coffee ~~ Are you serious?? That's hysterical!!

Anonymous said...

Makes sense. They use the same signs every single year. How's that whole competition thing workin' out for ya John?

I like how they took the 2 judges and the thieverer of taxes and mashed them all on a tiny sign.

Times must be tough!

I heard John is now wearing adult diapers. He's really, really nervous these days.

SCATS said...

To 9:19PM ~~ Warning! That's on the edge of getting deleted ... but I'll use it as a reminder to all. Let's not get too graphic, please.

Anonymous said...

Well he certainly looks like he's wearing one in that picture! LMAO!!!

CoffeeReady said...

Yes I am serious! I was at the bagel shop drive thru :)!

SCATS said...

To Coffee ~~ Thank you! There's nothing quite like attempting to get in some clandestine campaigning in broad daylight! LOL

Does this mean you are actually endorsing another candidate? It can't be. You have gone political on us. Say it isn't so.

SCATS said...

To 8:58AM ~~ If I decide to endorse someone, I will use the word "Endorse" next to that person's name, so you will know it ;)

If John gets four more years he could easily create so much damage to the town we will never recover.

For that reason alone I would vote for Dan Maloney.

I think however, that some posters are are demanding answers out of Dan that no one in that position can have.
He does have an economic plan from what I have seen. End or regulate Comida subsides. Stop sweetheart deals to cronies. Pursue Green jobs initiatives (there could well be some govt aid here).
Restore youth services. We can't just focus on seniors.

What is Jack's plan. The republicans run on only one issue. Taxes.
They have no economic development plan except give subsides to friends and contributors to create a few low wage jobs.
Under this "plan" it look like incomes and wages have dropped like a stone.

To 10:11 AM ~~ I fear that if Auberger gets re-elected, we're going to see a level of arrogance and unfettered ego unlike anything we've experienced so far. Think about it from his perspective ... Overcoming scandal after scandal, facing a full slate of candidates and STILL winning? He will be completely out-of-control as he attempts to control everything if he gets another nod from voters.

Maybe we should consider a write-in campaign for Merritt Rahn for anyone who doesn't like the current choices.

JUST KIDDING!!

Scats:
The RAW group from Northgate are supporting the democrats slate of candidates, correct?
Have the candidates voiced anything in reference to Northgate?

Have any of the candidates who are on the Working Families Party/Acorn disowned that and asked to have their names removed from that line on the voting machine?

SCATS said...

To 11:36AM ~~ I haven't heard that RAW had aligned itself with any particular group, but I suppose it would make sense for them to seek to show their displeasure with the status quo by opting to back the Democrats.

Does Aubergter renounce his support by fundamentalist preachers who believe evolution is a lie and believe that we are "crime free" because we serve Jesus (not my Jesus by the way). C'mon stop that crap.

It's guilt by association -- though in John's case there is a grain of truth.

Some of our folks out there will try any dirty trick. I am personally disgusted by Auberger's sleazy fliers.

It's okay of you don't like Maloney but criticize him for what you think he will do as supervisor.

Anonymous said...

Only RAW's leader is openly supporting Dan Maloney. He's on his campaign website. Has Maloney taken a position on Walmart? I haven't heard him say anything about it at all.

SCATS said...

To 3:31PM ~~ I haven't heard him mention it either.

Anonymous said...

reason 1.1 auberger has come to act as a dictator

Anonymous said...

I'm guessing Walmart wasn't Maloney's preference, but knows it's a done deal, has gone through the courts and is going in (so why make an issue of it and seem unpopular to some?).

I would think Auberger would be pulling out all the stops to get the project started now as this was his baby, and he made the promises on the GOP website about it getting started by end of summer.

And I'm gonna bet that wasn't the only promise he's made.

12;55 + Scats:
I posted at 11;36 and asked about some of the local and county candidates having their name on the Working Family Party/Acorn line. I asked if these candidates were requesting removal from this line and or were denouncing the endorcement of this party.
I received a smart a** remark from 12;55 but nothing from Scats.

SCATS said...

To 6:15PM ~~ I don't know whether or not any Greece candidates have their name on that or not. Why don't you call Dan Maloney and ask him :)

Anonymous said...

I can't wait for Oct 13-14.....it will be Auberger's day of reckoning!

Anonymous said...

SCATS suddenly becomes ignorant when it comes to negative information about Dan Maloney and the Dems he's supporting. He knows all the Greece Dems have the Working Families Party line - it's proudly listed on their websites which I believe he's been to.

Don't expect any of them to denounce support from ACORN/WFP.

SCATS said...

To 7:05PM ~~ Since you already know the answer to everything and are psychic too, why do you bother asking? Oh I know. You enjoy the repetition of seeing your daily comments on the same subject in print ;) Why don't you take it over to Monroe Rantings where you'll be hailed a hero for it?

Anonymous said...

For what its worth, I don't see that anything about ACORN or WFP is relevent to Greece elections anyway. Its a nonissue in this suburb. Let's get back to talking about Auberger's mess-ups. Now that's worth discussion.

Whoda thought that acorn could drive the little republican NUTS!

Get over yourself.

Anonymous said...

One reason I will vote for him. He has best tax record in the county. End of story!!!

SCATS said...

To 12:59PM ~~ I can understand the importance of that issue to everyone. However, the days of that are very likely over! With all the lawsuits that are being lodged against the Town, the PD, etc. Auberger's shortcomings in the many other areas I cited are something we'll be paying for for many years to come.

Anonymous said...

We have no services. Future generations will pay for Auberger's follies. But hey the future doesn't vote

Anonymous said...

Auberger said that he can not meet with constituents because he spends his time on personnel and the budget. Yet, with the Assessor and Police scandals he did not know anything. Remember Sgt. Schultz in Hogan's Heroes, " I know nothing".

Also, how can Auberger run on taxes. Greece pays some of the highest taxes in the county.
