Pay to get to talk to Mr. Maloney, I don't think so. "Suggested donation" doesn't mean you can skip out on paying. It means "here's the minimum but we'd love it if you'll pay more."

Maybe he just doesn't have that much to say. He's probably realizing that running a town as big as Greece is beyond his ability. It's understandable. Take a look at his entire campaign. It's all about him sitting around waiting for something to happen that he can jump all over and trash the administration for. Not much in the line of "here's what I'll do better." Heck, it took Dan 3 days to respond to a simple question on whether he held a meeting or not. Not looking good folks.

Or maybe he realizes Auberger is in self-destruct mode and there's no reason to say a word ;)

Just imagine after he's elected and residents no longer have to pay ANYTHING to talk to the Supervisor.

All those town employees who must pay, all those department heads that must pay - and of course all of us residents who pay DEARLY.

It will be nice to have a bowl of Chili with the next Supervisor of the Town of Greece!

To 11:59AM ~~ You can talk to Maloney without paying now. He hasn't exactly kept his phone number a secret.

He has always had his address and phone number on his website - all of the candidates have had them up there since day one.

I called Joe Moscato, my 2nd ward candidate, and he talked very openly with me, and addressed and answered some of the concerns I had.

I respect that. He has my vote.

SCATS ~~ Any implication that it "pays" to contribute is merely coincidental! ;)

To 11:18: I'd say Auberger's record of incompetent governing is what's not looking good. And you're complaining about Dan taking 3 measly days to respond to a question? Some of us are still waiting for any answers at ALL from our questions to Auberger! Repub's still haven't come up with any plan on what they'd do (either fiscally or otherwise).

To 12:41PM ~~ Thanks for the memories :) lol

Ya, only his announced meetings are secret.

Oh my gosh, the chili was to die for! I don't think there was a drop left to be had with the turnout! It was great, and I learned SO many different things that were going on at the old town hall.

Maybe it was the chili, maybe it was the crowd, but either way - I'm voting for Dan all the way! I'm also voting all the way straight down the Democratic line, and I'm a Republican from way back.

I cannot express how refreshing the honesty, openness and approachability of this ticket is in my mind. My wife and I want to thank SCATS for putting up that notice. We did not know about this event, and my daughter-in-law pointed out the school blog where we saw the notice. We went together as a family, and the Greece Democrat ticket walked away with FOUR votes from this family.

Thank you whoever you are SCATS for keeping the community informed on the important items in our town!

Anthony R. and family, all from Greece, all voting in November.
