Are Auberger, Loszynski & Green Trying To Close Rahn's Hearing?

I get lots of information from Republican insiders and have been a supporter of John Auberger in the past.

The Town Republican party is in disarray and split into two distinct factions - Auberger Republicans and Riley/Boily Republicans. Because of the police scandal, one faction asked Auberger to resign and not seek reelection. The reason for this is obvious. Auberger refused to step down in spite of local pressure as well as county pressure.

Regarding the upcoming Rahn hearing on the 13th and 14th of October, Auberger, Joe Loszynski (that's right, he's still here) and DA Mike Green are pressuring the appointed hearing officer to close the Rahn hearing, citing that public disclosure of certain facts would compromise the criminal case against Rahn. Let's all hope and pray that they fail in this endeavor.

The last thing Auberger wants is Rahn's side of the story to be heard two weeks before the November election.   9/29/2009 12:35 PM

SCATS ~~ If this is true, community members need to call Auberger & DEMAND this hearing being held in the open!

#1. Since when can anyone talk directly to Auberger? "I am Him" won't be too interested either.
#2. Since when did Auberger ever respond favorably to public requests that did not align with his political goals?
#3. Since when will Auberger allow factual information unfavorable to his election to be made available to the public?
#4. Since when did the rules of open hearings apply in situations where Auberger didn't want an open hearing?
Get the picture?

To 2:58PM ~~ I think that if Town Hall started getting numerous calls on this topic, the powers that be will take note.

I'm hearing Auberger is REALLY beginning to run scared in recent days. He's having to work hard for a change ;)

I thought this Loszynski guy was going to be done on Labor Day. Boy, talk about milking the system. When will Auberger stop spending our tax dollars on the purge of the cops.

Where is this Maloney guy? He should be all over this issue if he's serious about winning an election. If I was him, I'd fire my campaign manager if he has one and get a new one before he blows the best chance a Democrat has ever had to be Supervisor.

I fot a phone call around 4:30pm today from some survey group asking about who i would vote for if the election was held today. What did I think of the way Auberger has handled the GPD mess. And a whole bunch of other questions pertaining to how Auberger has handled the job as Supervisor. I gave the woman an earfull. I told her Augberger has to be deaf, dumb and blind not to know what was going on within the GPD.

To those of you who want to rant on about how it's the Democrats who post negative things on this site..............FYI......I am not registered with any party. I have always voted for the person. I voted for Auberger the last time. I won't be doing that again!

To 7:44 - I have heard that the Monroe County Democrats are running Maloney's campaign.

To 8:34PM ~~ I've heard similarly, too.

See I've heard the David Garretson is the man behind the scenes pulling the strings of the Greece Democrats including, the Maloney campaign

To 9:42PM ~~ That doesn't sound quite right to me, but I can't rule it out completely. Does it matter who it is?

If Garetson and the Monroe County Dems are running Maloney's campaign, that explains everything.

Maloney needs to get around more

To 9:19AM ~~ I asked Garretson and he says he isn't running the campaign.

To 9:51AM ~~ From my vantage-point, I think most of these candidates need to get around more. I'm in the third ward. So far, the only person who has been seen campaigning in this neighborhood was Andrew Conlon who rang a few (seems like very few) bells several weeks ago! At this late juncture, we've gotten one mailer from Auberger, and one from Conlon ... none from anyone else. Maybe they are all feeling confidant?

They've been walking door-to-door with fliers - and usually devote Saturdays to this and evenings from what I've seen. (To save on postage? To make it more personal?)...referring to Dems.

But I think Dan Maloney and other Dem candidates need to be seen more...maybe a town meeting with Q & A?

....Repub's still busy blowing up "little Napoleons" ?? ;)

I'm trying to decide if that sounds "dirty" lol

I matters who is running his campaign because I think he is getting some bad advice from people who don't know Greece. Most of the County Dems are from Irondequoit, an entirely different town from Greece with very different issues.

If you realize that no Democrat has been Supervisor in this Town since the 1890's, you can understand that the political situation in Greece is unique.
