Plans To Teach
"I've got my time in and this fabulous offer came along." ~~ Lt. Steve Wise

SCATS ~~ Gee, Steve. I hope you teach them about the appropriate use of police dept. vehicles, credit cards, etc.

WATCH Auberger's CYA ... I mean Press Conference ;)

Scats, I know you don't like Lt. Wise, but to think his 22 yrs of service and dedication to fighting crime amounts to only your tunnel vision view of the issue of the car and card...I'm embarrassed for you.

Lt. Wise was instrumental in many investigations..and I, for one, am grateful for the time he put out there to make the streets a little safer in my community.

It's when you make surly comments like you did that disappoint.

To 11:43AM ~~ Why would you feel embarassed for me? You have no control over me or association to me!

Lt. Wise has been one of Auberger's "spies" within the dept. He reports straight to Jack, not to the chief.

My comment is based upon the fact that I feel as if someone is taking us all for fools by trying to get us to believe there was no wrong doing associated with his "decision to retire" at this juncture in a huge scandal for the GPD. Do YOU believe his leaving is a totally innocent coincidence?

I am sure Lt. Wise has done some wonderful things during his long career and I think it's too bad he fell into bad company when he agreed to become the snitch for Auberger. Auberger has no loyalty when it comes to politics and he is throwing Wise to the wolves, or maybe not, they are letting him retire to a teaching job (that's a new one, usually it's to spend more time with one's family.)

When Auberger claims he is innocent and knew nothing about what was going on in the department, that is an outright lie. He got better information on what was going on there than Rahn did. No matter what he says, he is the Supervisor and the buck stops there. He had at least three high ranking command officers reporting to him on a daily basis and if he didn't know anything he had to be deaf, dumb and blind (I suspect this may be the case).

The biggest wrong in this hiring business is that usually the first time Rahn would meet the new cops was at the board meeting when they were sworn in. Everyone who works at the Town Hall knows that Auberger controls everything that goes on there, this is a fact. I have heard he is like a little tyrant Napoleon. His claims of innocence are beyond belief!

You state that as if it's a fact. Please then site the proof you have.

And please don't say it's because "one of my sources told me." Those excuses are getting old and annoying.

I don't know the man, but if he toke a cop car to Pittsburg as reported somebody (i hope) knew.

No one would get away with that type of thing in the private world without approval.

The "fabulous offer" Wise mentions relates to being let off the hook. You have to be really naive to think otherwise

SCATS said...

To 12:46PM ~~ It IS a fact. I've witnessed it ;)

Jack Auberger is shaking like a leaf and looking like a nervous, weak man in that "news conference".

Whatcha hiding Jackie boy?

Scats Im sure you are right. The Wise lovers from an un-named blog are sad as they will have no longer have a police officers direct number on speed dial. If I had to guess I bet at least two post here today were from one serial poster. AKA spammer :)

"To 12:46PM ~~ It IS a fact. I've witnessed it ;)"

Still means nothing. I witnessed you entering that Greece nudy club. (JK)

You see? means nothing.

Add the date/time/place/circumstances and you'd be credible.

Untill then...

SCATS said...

To 1:12PM ~~ If I added that, it would still mean nothing to you ... unless you are Wise, Auberger, "I am him" etc ;)

Nice try though :)

SCATS said...

To 1:11PM ~~ Not to worry. Greece cops love to hand out their "business cards." Wise and Ball seemed to have a special fondness for doing so. I have a handful of them.

Anonymous said...

SCATS, of course it would have. It would have shown that you were telling the truth and i would have believed you. Your non-response gives everyone here all they need to know now when you make these claims.

No problem not wanting to answer. That's fine. I didn't expect you to be able to prove it. ;)

SCATS said...

To 1:26PM ~~ Based on your statement, anything I had stated would have been "proof" for you ... in that case on April Fool's Day I saw Lt. Wise go straight to Jack and whisper in his ear about what you did when you were supposed to be working, but called in ill ... :) You know the day ... the one where you met that blonde chick from the Tub 'n Tan ... and borrowed a town vehicle ... ;)

I can't wait for Rahn to throw Auberger to the wolves. This is must see TV.

People in the Town of Greece need to wake up and realize just how much control John Auberger has in this town.

Woah SCATS, not you're just being mean and nasty. Nothing I said should be offensive to you. I've only asked for proof and wrote an obviously (as I specifically noted) false comment that no one would believe, to emphasize my point.

Unsurprising that your response is to sling more outlandish untrue accusations aimed at me personally.

Why do you get so upset when someone asks you to simply prove a statement you make, when you readily do it to others here?

Are you concerned that the number people commenting here would drop off if you only wrote factual stories backed up by actual proof, and not the wild rumors and accusations and unproven comments made by people here?

You may no believe it but I think this would only help and improve comments/readership. Quality would trump quantity.

SCATS said...

To 1:43PM ~~ What I wrote was intended to be sarcastic! You need to take a chill pill, really.

SCATS said...

Then again ... maybe my sarcasm hit home!

Anonymous said...

Drugs don't solve anything. ;)

I wasn't upset with you if that's what you're implying. Sorry if you took it that way.

So how 'bout that proof now? ;)

SCATS said...

To 1:48PM ~~ I feel no need to validate anything to someone like you who calls me "mean and nasty" one minute then claims they weren't upset with me the next minute and says they are sorry if I took it that way. What other way is there to take the charge of being mean & nasty? Now look who is unbelievable.

I strongly urge you to back away from your keyboard ... how about a cat nap?

1:47 - see, you just can't help yourself!

SCATS said...

I thought my reference to April Fool's Day would make my sarcasm clear! But I forgot ... this is "serious business!"

SCATS said...

Speaking of serious business ... did anyone attend Auberger's "Potty Tales" event at the library this morning? I'd like to hear a full report on how things came out at the toilet training seminar :D

To 1:43PM et al ~~ Your attempts (failed) to bully me will get you nowhere.

Hey, what'd 1:43 do? Is being on your side all the time wrong now?

Don't fret SCATS. School starts soon. The teens will be back in classrooms instead of sniping online.

RE DO: To 2:07PM ~~ Sorry. TWO POSTINGS went up at 1:43PM. I meant the second one.

For the doubting Thomas out there, just ask any police officer (not a command officer). They will tell you, because they shouldn't be in fear of their jobs anymore, that what is said here is the absolute honest truth. There have been at least three and probably more moles in the PD who report directly to Auberger. For a fact I will state they are/were Wise, Chatterton and Phelan (all members of the Republican Committee and donors to Auberger's campaign fund).

This in itself is breaking department rules, because there is an explicit chain of command and believe me it does not go from Lieutenant to Supervisor. But nevermind, no one bothers to follow department rules, or town laws, or whatever.

If Wise did, in fact take the police car to Pittsburgh, he probably was just doing what command officers have done since back in the Phelan days and he probably didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Just the fact that he used the EZ pass and credit card proves this. Who would be that stupid if you were trying to get away with something. I'm sure he's smarter than that

Anonymous said...

Lt. Wise's credibility took a big hit with me when I took that Citizens Police Academy class with him. I asked if a background check was done on the people in the class. He said no. That makes no sense at all when you realize they take us out to their shooting range and teach us how to hold and fire assault weapons. If he told the truth that's very scary and makes me wonder why any upstanding cop would work in such a place. If he didn't tell the truth it supports the fact he is one of Auberger's insiders.

BLOG Administration rejected publishing a somewhat snide comment directed towards a named resident.

Anonymous said...

there's snide comments made towards named recipients all the time here.

SCATS said...

To 5:50PM ~~ The person named in the comment rejected is not someone who is in the news! There is a difference between your Aunt Hilda, your neighbor Lou and your locally elected & taxpayer paid politicos.

Anonymous said...

He will be soon!

Anonymous said...

"...and your locally elected & taxpayer paid politicos."

You personally are guilty of making snide comments about named residents who do not fit in this category.

SCATS said...

To 6:25PM ~~ Time will tell, won't it?

To 6:33PM ~~ Yes, I know that BOE members and highly paid GCSD employees are not "political." In the case of the BOE, they aren't even paid!
