No thanks, I'll save my money for serious candidates!

I support Joe. We need a change in Greece.
WE have to have some opposing views. watchdogs and public debate in our town board. Joe has the experience and knowledge to provide that.

Anyone who doesn't take Joe "seriously" has completely underestimated this man and his committment to his principles!

BLOG Administration rejected one comment that used name-calling. Anyone who BLOGs here should know the rules by now!

Joe never stops fighting for the good of Greece and the community. Im proud to say that he is running in my Ward! (found that out by checking on the town website!)

Ill be voting for him for sure. He has the fighting spirit we need.

If Moscato does half as much for the Town as he did on the School Board, The taxpayers will come out way ahead. He is stubborn and will never give up on what is right.

Anonymous said...

And yet...that is EXACTLY what he did. He GAVE UP before his term was over. Short memory?

No Republican Greece town board members have ever resigned before their terms were up?
Joe resigned in protest They wanted to spend time with their families (sic)

To 3:47PM ~~ If you had any true understanding of what was going on, Joe's explanation describing how he was free to do more off the BOE than on it would have been accepted at face value. When you are serving under someone else's rules, you have to abide by their code. As a private citizen I have MUCH MORE POWER AND INFLUENCE than I could ever have as one person on aBOE of nine.

"When you are serving under someone else's rules, you have to abide by their code."

Actually, that's a sign of weakness or an unwillingness to fight for what you think is right.

Scats you are correct and so was Joe in resigning from the school board. He was no longer bound to keep silent on all Executive Session items. He had more access to the NYS Comptroller's office concerning the audit because he did not have to go through Boiley or the Stupidentendent. He could speak out about employee contracts and a whole slew of other things that he could not as an individual board member.

BTW......Town board members resign all the time to move into other guarenteed political positions or they resign using their 'family" as an excuse when in reality it has to do with the Rob U Trade scandal.

To compare Joe to the town board is laughable. Joe stood on principal. When have you ever seen that happen with our Stupidvisor or his town board minions?????

To 5:10PM ~~ You are 100% wrong in the case of the Greece BOE who plays games like "Sign the district's code of ethics ... now let's ignore our own policies and procedures." They do it often!

Anyone willing to stand in front of the media doing some sort of a broom march cannot be taken seriously.

Joe is beginnning to believe his own press releases and that is dangerous.

Question: will you be able to pay your union dues at this fund raiser?

SCATS said...

To 5:19AM ~~ Obviously, you are the SAME person who posts over and over with the exact same crappola on here about the same two individuals. If you don't like either of them as candidates, then by all means please vote for the people who gave us two (and counting) felons in the GPD. I'm sure that will keep Greece in the headlines for years to come.

SCATS said...

Oh and one more thing, no more of your comments about brooms, unions and the individuals you enjoy ragging on will be posted. Enough already.

Anonymous said...

Individuals are running for offoce: brooms and union association are facts.

But I guess we know your political bent!

SCATS said...

To 11:04AM ~~ REALLY!? And exactly WHAT IS "my political bent??" So many on here contend they know me, understand me and can read my mind! In reality, I'm known for being unpredictable :)

PS ~~ IF the Republican candidates in Greece EVER come out of hiding, I'll post their bios and other info too. So far, it seems they are still cowering behind Auberger.

"Anyone willing to stand in front of the media doing some sort of a broom march cannot be taken seriously."

You're right - in this town they should have also been wearing hip waders!

Anonymous said...

Why would republicans want things posted here? It's a pro-Democrat Party site. It wouldn't make any sense.

Anonymous said...

The purpose of using the brooms worked -- it's still being talked about! It did the trick, although they are not smart enough to see that. That's the important thing and the goofy people who keep bringing it up are just helping those they oppose.

Anyone in advertising knows the value of a picture (silly or not) as they are the things that people remember. Remember "Where's the beef?" They do not remember some boring speech at a senior citizen affair as we are often subjected to by Mr. Auberger.

SCATS said...

To 2:15PM ~~ That's YOUR TAKE on things. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth ;)

In order to post about them, they need to step-up and provide some info on their candidates, links to a website, interviews with media, etc. If they don't do it, there's nothing I can do to help spread their message ... whatever that may be.

SCATS:

Don't take these attack tactics by what appear to me to be republicans seriously.

Essentially if you are not pro-republican and show any sympathy for another candidate or group you are accused of bias. At least some members of the party seems to do this on a continuing basis.

Sometimes it is good to appear before those who might disagree with you.

SCATS said...

To 5:12PM ~~ I take them as "seriously" as I take the guy they are running in my ward this fall. You know the one, the guy who was doing maintenance at Town Hall until someone decided he'd be one heck of a puppet for Jack ;)

Anonymous said...

SCTAS is objective and unbiased. If you don't believe him, just ask him. ;)

SCATS said...

To 2:30PM ~~ Would you like to drink to that? Oh wait ... maybe you already did ;)

Anonymous said...

Good insult SCATS.

BLOG Administration rejected publishing one comment asking people to "guess the candidate" based on "clues" about their family history, childhood, etc. I have no idea who this was supposed to be about, but it certainly had nothing to do with anything current.
