After reading this morning's D&C blog by Ms. Jaffarian and checking out Mr. Muscato's campaign web site, it is clear to me that the Democrats are running the wrong person for Supervisor.

Just a comparison of Muscato's biography with that of Maloney, shows no contest. Muscato's professional and community involvement and accomplishments are commendable and his background makes him the ideal candidate to fix the mess in Greece.

Unfortunately, I do not live in his district so I can't vote for him. If I did, he would get my vote. Too bad he's not the supervisor candidate as both my husband and I would enthusiastically support him. By the way, we are both life long Republicans who are disappointed in Mr. Auberger who we have always supported. This year, we may just decide to sit out the election.

To 2:42PM ~~ If too many life long Republicans sit out the election, we may end up with the same people for another term! I truly believe that having just one party in control of everything for so long is what has created this mess. The only way to undo it is to get SOME DEMOCRATS into office. Swapping out for all Dems will only put us in this situation all over again (potentially) down the road.

Make Auberger have to be accountable to 3 Democrats. That's the perfect scenario!

I agree SCATS. Not only that, but if Auberger STAYS in office, he could be brought up on charges. If he's out - he's off the hook, just like the Walts deal.

Auberger needs to stay. Just dump 3 of the 4 Republicans for Dems in the ward seats. If nothing more, the town board meetings will be much more interesting.

I'm looking for a couple independents with no ties to unions. Are they out there?

To 6:12AM ~~ Apparently not this time around.

To the woman who said that she and her husband would sit out the election because they couldn't vote for either Auberger or Maloney, I have a solution. Consider writing in a vote for Moscato for Supervisor instead.

9:39 - Good idea, but I dont think you can do that because Muscato already is on the ballot for the 2nd ward. I think he would have to with draw from the election altogether in order for write in votes to be legal.

It is not important as to the position that Joe is running for. What is important is that who we vote for will work as a team with one another to cure the ills of the town and to make sound decisions based on the interest of the town and not their political agendas or futur like we are seeing now.
