Five school windows were broken at Barnard Intermediate School, 71 Maiden Lane, on July 8.

Patrols responding to a break-in alarm discovered five juveniles running from the Longridge Primary School, 190 Longridge Ave., on July 10. Prosecution of the youths is pending.

This just shows how the whole Dewey Stone area is death spiraling into the sewer. Looks like its going to spread down Maiden Lane as far as Mt Read to the west. Latta to the city line is a wasteland already.

WHERE ARE YOU JOHN AUBERGER?

Barnard at maiden is no longer a school building. Just a district building. Was the vandalism at that site? Why were the people running away from the Longridge site then? Mile away. Were they doing a specific visit and vandalism of school district buildings?

To 10:49AM ~~ The incidents happened on different dates. I'm wondering why there was no alarm at Barnard when the 5 windows were broken.

It is not just the Dewey/Stone area. Craig Hill has been one of the most vandalized schools in the district for years.Lets face it this whole town is "death spiraling" thanks to our town government.

West Ridge is targeted a lot too. The kids in the neighborhood around it cause a lot of damage.

To 1:04, and it is the same kids that vandalized Starbucks a few years back, and Stephanies pizza kitchen and roam the neigborhood looking for trouble. They broke the top windows and what they got was a slap on the rist and asked to particiapte in the AIDS Rochester walk with thier parents... yup you guessed it they never did it.

Has anyone noticed the lack of police presence lately in the Dewey Stone area?

I am wondering how these parents are not being held responsible. I agree, we need a town curfew. We also need CONSEQUENCES that are enforced!!!!

To 9:31AM ~~ It's not just Dewey/Stone either! Last evening, I was out and saw groups of youths (4 or more in each) gathered on Long Pond Rd, on Maiden Ln, on Mt Read Blvd and on Black Walnut all at dusk or after. Some were just hanging out. Some were sitting on bikes together, gathered the way police cars used to congregate in certain Greece parking lots, if you know what I mean ;) Don't we have a "No Loitering" law?
