I wonder who will get credit (blame) for this? (innocent look)

To 5:56PM ~~ Since I "promoted" this event earlier this week, I thought I should let folks know it's been canceled.

They are so paranoid. And thanks for the heads up although I was never going to attend. Hee Hee Hee.

Rochester seeks a professional grade Performing Arts Center. According to RochesterHomepage.net, Brighton, Henrietta, Irondequoit and Webster are all vying for it.

Wasn't the Athena facility spoken of as being at this level when its existence was rationalized? Why is it being overlooked as such?

To 6:27AM ~~ I suspect it doesn't have the number of seats RBTL wants.

6;27 is absolutly right about the propaganda used to 'sell' the project.
It doesn't matter because as Charlie would say it felt good. Don't let 'facts' stand it the way as long as it 'feels' good.

The other problem with the PAC is that the space between the seats (legroom) is too short. It might be OK for 6,7,8 graders, but it's too short for older folks who would be attending a Broadway shows.

You really think that your post was the reason the Barbecue was cancelled? ?

To 2:15PM ~~ I raised quite a few questions. In the past, I've seen a number of other "problems" simply disappear when I've done that. Coincidence? Who knows? All that matters is that business is transacted appropriately.

Scats, I think this was really a Republican fundraiser in disguise. It's all Republicans on the board. The supposed "Who's Who" in Greece.

And I don't think it was the Greece Continuing Ed putting this on. I thought it was the Greece Education Foundation. This is the organization that is supposed to raise funds to give to our schools because they need the money so badly. (And is full of Republican boys) I guess the district can't survive on a budget of almost $200 million dollars!

To 5:48PM ~~ It was a planned fundraiser for Greece Continuing Education, not for GEF as I had originally thought. I made a call and asked some questions. It had nothing to do with party politics from what I can see.

It was cancelled do to a problem with the company...I think it is definently worth a call to Charlie to ask why...the answer may surprising.

To 11:43PM ~~ Obviously, you already know the reason, so why not just tell us?
