Who Pays 7 Month Hospital Bill?

Scott Burke, 37, of Greece was discharged from Strong Memorial Hospital seven months after being shot by a police officer, according to a hospital spokeswoman. Burke was moved to the jail, where he is being held without bail, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Burke is accused of threatening to kill his wife during a domestic dispute in the couple's home on Nov. 21, 2008.

Gannett Cutting 1400 Jobs

VP of Marketing Jim Fogler at the D&C confirmed the action will impact Rochester employees, but says he won't discuss the impact until the layoffs are implemented.

Do you think the town leaders -- er free loaders, would risk a hearing ion October so close the election. I f the hearing goes bad John A is toast if he isn't already. No time for damage control

I wonder how many regular citizens will turn out for the hearing. I know I'll be there. I can't wait! I can't imagine that this will go well for the town anyway. They made this mess and they will wear it.

I'm sure the entire hearing will be televised on cable, unless of course the new internet ready Town owned camear system malfunctions or the janitor can't find the key, or Hairburger has a bad hair day.
