Power Struggle ...

Will Tonight Be Julia's "LAST STAND" As BOE President?

This is the LAST regular BOE meeting before the July reorganizational meeting where newly elected BOE members are sworn in and board officers are elected. Carolyn Hauer is leaving her seat which will be filled by the hockey mom, Anne-Marie Stenglein.

Will there be ANY shift in control or will Julia be re-elected to serve as the Clown Posse Prez?

SCATS:

You have any inside "scoop" on this or is it just speculation?

To 11:58AM ~~ For the purposes of discussion, I asked some questions based upon fact. From my particular vantage point, I believe Julia revels in her power/control and I think she might put up a fight to keep it should anyone else want to become BOE Prez. The question is: DOES anyone else want to become BOE Prez?? If so, WHO?? I believe another name was "in the mix" last year ...

PS ~~ I never divulge any "scoops" I might have ;)

Yes of course Julia wants to keep control. It will only cost us more legal fees. I wonder what her tab is so far. Anybody know?

1:49 Now there's an idea for an investigative reporter!!! WTF is Meg????

Who are you people kidding? Roger is in charge! He pulls the puppet's strings. That's all Julia is, a puppet. Same goes for most of the other nine, too.

SCATS. You are correct. You DO have the inside scoop. The knowing circle seems relatively small, however. hmmm.

Yes. Julia will fight to maintain control and continue to act in her self interest. It is in the communities best interest to elect a new president. At a bare minimum, we need a board president that can conduct school business effectively while maintaining focus on student learning.

To 4:02PM ~~ You assume much. I've brought up the issue of "Who will lead the BOE?" in previous years, too. I've also observed THIS BOE Prez's actions and am certain she enjoys being where she is. A year ago, she had to fight with Boily to get him to keep his promise "to let" her be Prez. A year later, maybe he wants a change.

I'm not sure who you have in mind for doing the job you stated that needs to be done, given the meager choices on our BOE. I don't see any outstanding candidates :(

OMG, let's hope Julia remains as president. Her accomplishments are the stuff of legend.

I think I heard Boily is pushing Sean McCabe as he is the only one who agrees with him on the attributes of Achromavitch. However, what Roger doesn't realize is that Sean McCabe is universally detested by everyone who has come to know him. His co-workers, his fellow board members, his neighbors, and just generally everyone.

Last year Tydings wanted the job of top dog. Does he still want it?

God help us if Tydings wants to be "Bored" President! Did you hear him takeover at the end tonight? What a disaster! How this guy became a lawyer is beyond my ability to comprehend!!!

9:16 pm I couldn't agree more, all Tydings did was stumble through the last few things on the agenda. The man acts like he can't make up his mind on a single subject. With him a prez we'd be in worse shape then we are now.
